Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) reported a highest turnover in an intraday trading today.
The secondary market witnessed Rs 515.81 million turnover today due to Nabil Bank promoters shareholders, Nepal Bangladesh Bank and Nepal Bank’s trading.
The market also looked up to the four-year high of 677.8 points gaining some 16 points today due to insurance, hydropower, others, banks and development banks sub groups that have gained. The hotels sub-group, however lost today, NLG insurance gained Rs 69, RMDC gained Rs 50, and Butwal Power and Deprox Development Bank each gained Rs 46 per unit of their shares whereas Shikhar Insurance gained Rs 70, Sagarmatha Insurance gained Rs 55, Swawalamban Bikas Bank gained Rs 49 per unit shares to push the insurance sub-group up.
However, Life Insurance lost Rs 44 per unit share today.
