Newly appointed tourism secretary Suresh Man Shrestha today asked the tourism entrepreneurs to diversify tourism products and services to promote Nepal in international market effectively

“We have huge tourism potentials,” he said, adding, “But we are failing to get desired benefits due to lack of infrastructures as well as effective marketing and promotion. “We should focus on promoting our products and services in India and China – two emerging markets in the global scene.”

Likewise, he also said that the government will take appropriate decision after the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) once completes its probe against the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB). “We need a full-functioning board for better promotion of tourism,” he added.
