Nepal wooed Indian investors in India today.
Organising a seminar ‘ Tourism, Trade and Investment Opportunities in Neal’, in Gujrat today, Nepali Embassy in New Delhi hosted Tour Operators & Travel Agents Association of Gujarat, Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FICCI), according to a press statement issued by the embassy.
The Nepali side briefed investors on potential investment areas in Nepal.
Adressing the seminar economic minister at the Nepali mission in New Delhi Bishnu Prasad Lamsal urged the business community in Gujarat to invest in Nepal. He also stressed on competitive advantages of investing in hydropower and infrastructure development in Nepal.
During the seminar Councillor in Nepali Mission New Delhi Arjun Raj Pant shed light on investment opportunities in adventure tourism sector in Nepal.
Likewise chairman of Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India Gujrat chapter Bimal Mehta presenting a paper said both sides should encourage sharing of best practices.
They also discussed on the role regular meeting – like this – that would play in promoting trade and investment between Nepal and Gujarat.
