Indian hotel chain Lord Hotels and Resorts has entered Nepal.
It has invested Rs 200 million in Battisputali-based Mirage Lords Inn, said the chain in a press note today.
“Mirage Lords Inn aims at catering quality service to Nepalis and contribute for development of tourism industry of the country,” it said, adding that Lords has joined hands with ShreeJee Hotels for its Nepal operations.
“As Nepal’s political situation is moving toward stability, we have invested in the hotel with greater hope and prospects,” director of ShreeJee Hotels Mahesh Goyal said.
“The Indian chain is targeting tourists of all kinds from domestic to international,” he said, adding that they have entered the Nepali market with dedicated professionals and cumulative experience.
Mirage Lords Inn with 40 rooms offers air conditioning, multi-channel television, tea/coffee maker, safe deposit lockers, business centre, travel desk, and 24 hours room service.
The hotel is also planning to expand and increase to 50 rooms, apart from a completely vegetarian restaurant soon.
