President of Chaudhary Group Binod Chaudhary pledged Israeli investors to invest in agriculture sector of Nepal.

During an interaction with ambassador of Israel Yaron Mayer at Chaudhary Group’s head office in Sanepa today, he also asked Isreal to assist technically that will be most effective approach to improve agriculture output in Nepal.

Though two third of the population is engaged in agriculture, Nepal still lags behind in professional agriculture, he said, adding that the efficient manpower from Nepal and technical assistance from Israel will be best combination to transform agricultural sector. “There is a dire need of coordination between two countries to explore opportunities in agricultural sector.”

Informing the ambassador on CG Nepal Social Business – an initiative of Chaudhary Group – Chaudhary said that the group wants to make effective contribution on social development of the country. “This is why the group has introduced CG Nepal Social Business concept in Nepal,” he added.

Since a lots of creative manpower with professional skills lack capital in Nepal to turn their concept into reality, the CG Nepal Social Business will address them, he added.

Hailing the Chaudhary Group for its contribution to Nepali economy, Mayer, on the occasion, said that he would encourage Israeli investors to invest in agriculture sector in Nepal.

Likewise, managing director of Chaudhary Group Nirvana Chaudhary informed the ambassador on various business expansion and activities performed by the group under social responsibilities.
