CG Hotels and Resort – a subsidiary of Nepal’s multinational Chaudhary Group – has opened ‘Zinc Journey Arokhampa’, a high-end resort in Lijiang, China. “The resort has been opened with a motive of strengthening the company’s penetration in the global market,” the CG Hotels in its press note said.
“We aim to turn it into the first choice for tourists visiting Lijiang,” the statement read, adding that the resort reflects the culture, tradition and lifestyle of historic Lijiang city.
Built in a traditional design, in the UNESCO’s world heritage-listed China’s old town Lijiang, the resort also serves traditional food of that locality and has a target to tap high yield tourists
“The resort offers deluxe rooms to royal suites for tourists,” according to CG, “guests can have a view of natural beauty from all the rooms. Suites feature king size bed and there is a Chautari – shed – where people can enjoy the nature.”
The guests can also enjoy plucking vegetables from the garden and take an experience of cooking meat items themselves.
“We are happy to expand Zinc Journey,” CG President Binod Chaudhary said, commenting during the launch.
“We will strengthen the philosophy of hospitality with this expansion,” he said, adding that CG has been focusing on the hotel and hospitality business since a few years back, encouraged by its experience of partnering with the Taj Group of Hotels.
“We are committed to add further resorts under Zinc Journey brand,” the only Forbes-listed Nepali billionair Chaudhary added.
