The frequent avalanches in and around the area halted rescue works at earthquake-hit Langtang village in Rasuwa district.
The Nepal Army rescue team has taken out 90 dead bodies, including nine foreigners, from the areas so far, according to the member secretary at the District Disaster Management Committee and Local Development Officer Gajendra Kumar Thakur.
The devastating earthquake on April has triggered avalanche at Mt Langtang. Some 160 houses were collapsed in the deadly earthquake. Likewise, some 183 locals, 20 labourers, 80 tourists, 40 tourist guides and 10 Nepal Army personnel have been missing in the areas since April 25. More tourists have still been suspected of buried in the avalanche.
The details of the frequent avalanche is yet to come, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabin Pokharel.
