Nepali Greens organised Agriculture Assembly, coinciding with first first meeting of Constituent Assembly (CA) on January 22 in participation with farmers of Pida VDC in Dhading district.
Nepali Greens, on the occasion, discussed on agricultural policies and programmes, Agriculture Development Strategy (ADS), farmers’ problems and information sharing on commercial farming and agro cooperative development and collected farmers’ concerns.
They will organise agriculture assembly in different parts of the country, according to Coordinator of Agriculture Assembly Secretariat of Nepali Greens Ballav Timalsina. “Nepali Greens will help bridge the gap between the farmers and members of CA and lobby for ensuring farmers’ rights, development and security.”
