A three-day ministerial level South Asia Labour Conference is going to be held in Lahore next month.
Speaking at a meeting with diplomats of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries in Islamabad, Pakistan’s Punjab Minister for Labour and Manpower Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that key labour market stakeholders from SAARC countries‚ labour ministers, secretaries, employers and workers will be invited to exchange knowledge and experience besides future planning.
In April, there will also be an industrial exhibition that will showcase SAARC as well as Pakistani products on the occasion.
