The centres will also have techno-commercial team and a toll-free helpline to facilitate the farmers, apart from easy access to seeds, veterinary medicines, agriculture-related machines, pesticides and other agro-related products at the agriculture centers.

The company will give women priority in these agri-centre.

The Nimbus Krishi Kendra’s will also act as a direct linkage between producers, processors and retailers of agricultural products, Bagaria added.

The stores will also have modern warehouses where the company will rent out storage space to farmers, said Nimbus that is also planning to provide micro financing against the products stored at the warehouses as collateral.

Nimbus will build godowns in a few places with 5,000 tonnes capacity, Bagaria informed, “The proper storage facilities would allow farmers to store their products for a longer period without losing their nutritional value.”

“We are trying to bring a holistic approach to the agricultural sector by announcing our plan to open outlets in the country,” he said, adding that the outlets would help farmers to increase the yield from their farms.
