Chinese and Bangladeshi entrepreneurs have expressed their willingness to invest in Nepal and trade with Nepali entrepreneurs.

During a meeting with Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) officials here today, on the fourth day of the Nepal International Trade Fair 2014, the domestic and foreign entrepreneurs also discussed some of the future business prospects.

Chinese entrepreneurs showed interest to invest in Nepal’s agriculture and hydropower, according to the umbrella organisation of the private sector.

Likewise, Cosmo World Industries and Bangladesh’s SAARC Trading & Marketing International also signed a deal to trade and market herbal products manufactured Nepal.

The five-day fair has attracted some 50,000 visitors till the fourth day. The fair that started last Thursday is showcasing various products from Nepal, India, China, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Bhutan and Thailand in around 280 stalls.

The fair will conclude tomorrow.
