The visiting Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) team – led by federation president Suraj Vaidya – to Malaysia has formally invited former prime minister of Malaysia Dr Mahathir bin Mohamad to take part in Nepal-Economic Summit-2014 as a keynote speaker.
Mahathir expressed his commitment to take part in the summit provided his health condition, according to Vaidya.
Malaysia had taken a giant leap in economic and infrastructure development during the Mahathir’s 22-year-long premiership.
The FNCCI has requested him to take part in the first week of March. The Nepali team, on the occasion, also discussed on bilateral trade and economic issues also.
